Amazing 2010

For the two of us it has been an amazing 2010. It started on the beach in warm and sunny Mui Ne (Vietnam) and will end in cold but beautiful Bern (Switzerland). That's about as good as it gets (at least in our view :-)).During the first eight months of 2010 we had the opportunity to travel around the world and thereby to learn about other cultures, to make new friends, to see spectacular sights and to collect lifetime experiences. After Vietnam we visited Siem Reap (Cambodia), Bangkok and Hong Kong. Towards end of January we arrived in Kiwiland (New Zealand). After more than five great weeks full of hiking, animal watching and sightseeing we headed to Perth to explore the Southwest, West Coast and the northern part of the red continent. In May we then enjoyed the relaxing way of life on the Cook Islands before we arrived in Los Angeles. After touring the (wild) West we drove north and enjoyed beautiful Canada. Finally, in August, we flew back to good old Switzerland.

It took (and still is taking) us quite hard to get readjusted. Priorities shift during times of travelling. However, Regula started to work different smaller jobs while I restarted with UBS in Zurich. In January, Regula will get started as an advisor for mothers and fathers with children below 5 years of age. You see, we are working again but in our minds we are already thinking about future chances for little trips here and there and maybe, maybe a bigger one....at one point in time.....
